About
Designer, illustrator, and visual artist
I weave dark fairytale dreamscapes through ink, paint, and traditional printmaking, focusing particularly on lithography. I graduated with distinction from the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków at the Faculty of Industrial Design, specializing in Graphic Design. I deepened my practice studying illustration in Strasbourg and graphic design in Paris. I am a member of ZPAP (Association of Polish Artists). Alongside my work in digital product design, I dedicate my life to visual art.
In my creative practice, I explore female strength and emotional depth, reframing mythic creatures and demonized figures from folklore into sensitive, complex beings. Between dark fairy tales and quiet melancholy, I transform personal emotional storms into shadowy paper dreamscapes. I create from my studio in Krakow, Poland.
Personally, I am a passionate enthusiast of indie comics, the gothic whimsy of Edward Gorey, the stop-motion animations of the Quay Brothers, and the melancholic music of Nick Cave.
My art
At the heart of my work lies the feminine spirit, its quiet strength, resilience, and emotional complexity. Drawing inspiration from Symbolist art, religious iconography, and folklore, I seek out figures historically cast aside as monstrous: female demons and mythic beasts.
Working with traditional lithography stones, heavy black ink, and layered paint, I treat myth as a living language to express melancholy and raw emotion. Here, fairytale delicacy blends with surrealism, existing alongside the unsettling shadows of human life to offer a nostalgic escape where darkness holds its own gentle beauty.
